For this project I grouped with Allyson, Kay Lee, and Rachel. We brainstormed for awhile on different ideas and finally got really inspired after Kay Lee showed us this link:

We really wanted to make this fun, so we decided to do away with deep meanings and went with the conventional superhero idea.
We really liked these pictures because of the costumes and how the hero pops out of the picture. If we wanted to make this work, finding costumes was going to make or break our idea.
Kay Lee's friend had a trunk full of different costumes and we came up with the idea of being the 4 elements.
We started with the idea of how our normal disguises, our selves, are all friends in real life, and we have no idea that we are all super heroes. And in fact some of us are enemies.

We wanted our backgrounds to be similar to our inspiration photos, so we decided to have our normal selves featured in the backgrounds as line drawings. Here are some of the pictures we took of me:
